Empowered Home Educators, Inc. seeks to instill a sense of confidence and competency for homeschooling families of color by providing relevant educational resources, support, and up-to-date information on the legal rights and privileges available to homeschoolers in the Commonwealth of Virginia and surrounding areas.
OUR VISION:
Empowered Home Educators utilizes community events and shared experiences to educate and foster meaningful connections among homeschooling families of color.
We encourage and enlighten them to strengthen their family bonds by embracing homeschooling as both an educational alternative and a fulfilling lifestyle.

How it all began...
OUR STORY
Empowered Home Educators, Inc. was birthed from the shared dream of homeschooling families not unlike yourself. We have a passion for our communities and wanted to fill on the gap that exists between the technical side of homeschooling and the experience of homeschool as a lifestyle.
We know what it's like to search high and low for the "right" curriculum. We know how frustrating it can be to find families to connect with and share the journey alongside you.
We know how anxiety builds up when comparing your homeschool reality to the seemingly ideal homeschool life of someone else.
We're a mixture of seasoned homeschool parents with graduates, current homeschoolers still putting in the work, special needs families of all types, single parent households, and even military families. There's no challenge we haven't faced and no struggle we aren't willing to guide you through.
